If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

The F-14 looks about ready to pee itself!

EDIT: Exactly what did you edit on these shots?

Just removing jaggies. I got fussed at for doing that and posting in freeware. AA just doesn't work on my setup. Don't know why. Undecided

The aircraft is Robert Christopher's available here:
http://www.simviation.com/fs2004props5.htm
and the repaints are Jonathan Holvey's available here:
http://www.simviation.com/fs2004props123.htm
all on SimV of course. The original comes with three liverys and the repaint gives you three more. I think they all look good except for the red one. It needs some stripes or something. Awesome little plane.  Smiley

Yes, I'm familiar with the original.

I'm unfamiliar with editing shots to remove jaggies.  How is that accomplished?

Embarrassed
Well, I've emabarrassed myself again. Failed to look at who wrote the comment I was reading. Of course I remember the thread, you're the reason I now have the aircraft. Sorry. Embarrassed

Uh, you're kidding right? You've been here six years and are not familiar with that? I don't know if you're pulling my leg or serious.  UndecidedIf you're serious, I'll be happy to explain how I do it. Some of the others may have a better method though.   Smiley

No, I'm not kidding.  I tend to spend my time flying and designing aircraft, not taking screenshots.

But nevermind.

Sorry, I wasn't being ugly, I just thought you were joking.
You need a paint program like Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro. I use Paint Shop Pro. I use the soften tool at the smallest size with opacity set around 30. It takes some time, but just continue to go over the lines that are jagged until you have the deisred result. These programs are good for a lot of other types of editing as well. You can brighten a shot that is too dark, or just the opposite, increase or decrease the contrast, and many other things. There are also a lot of places on the net you can get tutorials on how to use the program. If used properly, it can take a mediocre shot and improve it quite a bit, depending on what you do. If you can learn to design aircraft, this should not be difficult for you. Designing aircraft is way over my head. I would love to be able to build my own models.
