Me, being a nerd, I love to make my own FS videos Cheesy

What I find annoying is, Im trying to find the abstract qualities of certain sceneries I have, and when I wish to record while in slew mode, I get that annoying little red flashing message "slew" "slew" "slew" on the bottom right hand corner of my screen. Is there anyway I can get rid of that while in slew mode?

Google for 'messagekill.zip'. Replacement for the default 'language.dll' file and kills all 'red text' and green bar messages except for Shift+Z text.

Hi JF.......a simple way to remove ALL the text messages including the Shift+Z stuff would be to add the line HideInfoText=1 to the [MAIN] section of the fs9.cfg file....

As in this example .....

[MAIN]
Location=369,165,1017,699
HideMenuNormal=0
HideMenuFullscreen=1
Maximized=0
HideInfoText=1

Handy for screen shots or just to get rid of those irritating messages. Tongue

......and if you do want them back change the 1 to a 0 or just delete the line.....
