Try this:

http://download.microsoft.com/download/4/d/e/4de1e425-c932-4232-829b-eeb7f265888...

If that link does not work then:

http://files.fsnordic.net/Flight_Simulator/Miscellaneous/SDK/

or

http://scenery.org/tutorials_fs2k4_SDK.htm

In any case you are after the setup.exe file for the proper SDK - Save it to a temporary folder and then run the exe file to install it.

Hope that helps.   Smiley

Thanks Opa.  The uSoft link fails and the FSnordic works somewhat but has a corrupt cab file so aborts installation.
Do you or anyone else have a good copy of it?

FYI - the links shown at that site are dead - have been for quite awhile now.

Actually, all the links work when copied and pasted into the browser address bar, except the gmax sdk.

You can get the FS2004 Gmax SDK here (and many others):

http://files.fsnordic.net/Flight_Simulator/Miscellaneous/SDK/

I gave the OP that link earlier but he states the file is corrupted  (see his earlier reply)

I had no problem so am not sure what to advise.

Well, if he can't get that to work, I will upload my copy to make it available.

I am having the same problem as the OP.  The copy on fs-nordic comes up as .cab1 corrupt and the install regresses and shuts down.  This is a pain, and why has MS pulled the SDK from the webiste in the first place?  Undecided

Milton, did you say you could upload the file ?  I would greatly appreciate it as I need this and I can't find it anywhere.  Its driving me mad.  Shocked

Anyone else who would help?  We need to have this hosted somewhere so people can get their hands on it in case of HD failure or just losing the file.  Thanks everyone!  Wink

EDIT:  I found the file!!  It is being hosted at FSDeveloper.

http://www.fsdeveloper.com/downloads/fs2004_sdk_gmax_setup.exe

Worked like a charm.  Thanks Arno!!
