Hi all.
Just noticed in the last couple of days that the 'pop-unders' that appear as part of going to the forum pages in the free site, have started to pop-over, so I have to cancel them before I can get to the forums. Have there been any changes your end? I use Firefox 3, the Windows XP SP2 firewall and a Netgear wireless router with hardware firewall, with no changes in any of them for a substantal while.
Cheers,

Hi - there are no pop overs anywhere on this site. There is only one pop under on the 'menu' page - one per session. No others & none in the forums.
Anyone getting pop overs or more than one pop under may have a trojan. Multiple pop pop up ads are a sure sign you have a trojan -- & it did not come from simviation!

Hm, thanks Pete. I'll run a full disk check and get back with the result. No multiple popovers anywhere.
Cheers.
UPDATE: I carried out a full virus check on my PC and came up with a clean slate. I'm running Firefox 3 - are there any other SimV users who are seeing unusual behaviour with the main menu page pop-under ad sometimes popping over?

Pop under - not pop over. It will only be there when you close your browser ..... an unfortunate event of life is that there is a reality that some things have to be paid for if they are going to last ...
We genuinely try to make things as user friendly as possible & have minimal adverts and do not coax everyone into buying payware. I will only ever present a site that I myself would enjoy visiting.
