I got back into DCS: Black Shark and have been flying the campaign missions (which are loads of fun, I don't know why I didn't do this earlier). These shots are from a mission where a forward air controller directed me and my wingman to targets in a town so we could liberate the town from insurgent control. In the third shot you can see where one of the insurgents caught my vertical stabilizer with a few rounds, so I had to show him that my gun was bigger.
I highly recommend this for anyone with an interest in helicopters. This is definitely the highest fidelity helicopter sim available right now, and it's fun just learning to fly and navigate this thing.

How could you ever get to the stage where you need to get back into Black Shark? This thing is very fun.
But a **** to trim and fly properly. I haven't even begun to learn the ABRIS, and those 200 pages dedicated to it don't look fun. Not to mention, at this point I can only start up the engines and electrical systems, but not set up the weapon and autopilot systems.
Some beautiful shots (although UPK-23 > B-8).

I only have the most basic understanding of the ABRIS system from the in-game training track, but my bookmark is firmly planted at the beginning of the ABRIS section in the manual. That section is daunting.
