Some of the designs the Luftwaffes best minds came up with in the dying days of the Third Reich were astounding...

That first shot is awesome.
If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

The first one is a HO 229:

Coincidentally enough, I was fiddling around with repainting a few days ago and repainted one.
Another "Technomage" theme.

I love the repaint. It makes it look more modern, good job. BTW, I just found out we are neighbors, sort of. And I lived in Red Stick a few years when I was real young. Gee, thinking about La makes me hungry for crayfish, or gumbo, or......

Thanks! For some reason I've gotten on a "paint it black" kick. The Horten IV glider looks good in black, too.
Crawfish-wise, if you're ever in the neighborhood, look me up, and if they are in season, "Shanes" has the best boiled crawfish in town, and we'll see how many mudbugs it takes to make us see double.

If I ever get over that way again, you're on.

I thought they looked a little too nice to be CFS!
I need to check that series out. I heard it's probably the best air combat game there is.
