Just using a new method to cut planes from their screenshot to make a composit, works great!

Indeed, what is this method, because that is some of the best cockpit transparency editing I've ever seen, and that stuff isn't easy to do. Wink

I've been working too hard apparently. Grin

Do you use Maxthehitman's method? It's about the easiest one I've ever seen. Cool  That man is a wizard at this stuff. Smiley

I think that is the one I am using. You use the polygon tool and zoom in really close and work at it all around the aircraft. Its quite simple actually, and gives very good results! Wish I had known about it sooner!

I kinda cheated with the cockpit transparency. Since its far away and you cant see many details, I simply erased the original background that was seen through the glass, and left a slight outline of the bubble. I'm still working on closer up shots.

Yep, that's the one. Cool

Great job on the cockpit.

What I do, is lasso/select the area of the cockpit and copy it, then erase only the parts of the glass that you can see all the way through.
Next paste a copy of the original area you lassoed, and place it where it goes, and set the fader on it until you can see through the glass to the background. Wink

Thats the cockpit glass method I've been messing with. Got that down, but now I'm still working on giving the glass the "glass look" back with the light reflections and all.

In that case I'd say you have pretty much got it then. Grin

Just add a slight touch of sunburst to your highlighted area on the glass and it should be perfect. Cool

Definitely takes some practice to do the glass. Still not liking the outcome so far.

As for the method you use to do the cockpit glass, i think the only difference that I do is use the polygon tool instead of the lasso tool. But, whatever gets it done, right?  Cool
