Something a little bit different.
Original Aircraft.cfg by Wolfgang Piper. Model by Christopher Hardt, available here:
simviation.com/fs2004misc22, just add the www dot and the dot html.
The first three are in the Colombia River Gorge area, the last at Air Mountain Ranch, near Seattle.
If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

Not the 'Raptor' I was expecting to see.
Very nice set. Very calm & peaceful. I especially like the composition in that last one. Some really nice elements in the shot.

I was curious. Is the bird a actual "aircraft", or did you just edit it in? Regardless, it was a surprise!

Thanks. It took several days and several different locals to find exactly what I was looking for.

It is an actual aircraft. The only edit is the coloring of the feathers. For information about the model/location, click after "Something a little bit different." and drag down to the pic.
I thought someone might be interested so I added it in the original post but made it invisible until you click and drag. I was just in "one of those moods".

Thanks. It's a little difficult when you're just replying. You never know if your reply will be in the light blue/gray or the white. But if you start the thread it's a lot easier.
