Just a heads up for a few people who use both...

I bought FSDiscover a couple of months ago specifically for flying in FTX with the OzX freeware airfields. Quite a lot of other people (240+ downloads) also use FSDiscover with these addons as it makes moving between the freeware strips much easier and Australia a more fun place to explore.

OzX have recently announced that they will no longer host Gwolb's FSDiscover files for FTX because  not having to search for the darn strips all the time will 'detract from the experience'. For me FSD only adds to the experience, and significantly, and how many pilots really search for unknown places every time they fly, lol.

Hopefully Gwolb will put them up on one of the major hosting sites, and it's not such a big deal but I still felt I had to register my protest at the 'elitism' being displayed at OzX. I went a bit off the rails as usual, but it really 'got my goat'.

Some will disagree with me, most won't care   but if you do feel disappointed by their decision you might want to make your feelings known here
