May not be a bad thing, maybe more than 6,7 or 8 episodes or once. A full dozen would be nice Huh

I'm sure Top Gear magazine's been saying "back in June" for months.

Is Top Gear in the UK broadcasted before the USA on BBCA?  I've become a fan over the winter and loved the Vietnam finale!

Well I agree if there is more episodes then its okay. But if its 2 series now a year and only 12 in a series, then we're no better off than 3 series and 8 episodes.

But will this upcoming series be shown on BBCA at the same time?

Unlikely as the Studio part is shot on the Wednesday before the Sunday and the the post production is not finished until Saturday. It was probably last seasons premier that was shown.

Posted on the Top Gear Website about tonights episode:

The Mole’s not usually one for open self-congratulation, but since claiming yesterday on this very blog that tomorrow night’s telly show is ‘going to be the best thing that’s ever been on television ever‘, Jeremy has spilled a bean or two about the programme that makes me, well, right.

Clarkson has revealed in his Sun newspaper column today that Stig finally shows the world his face.

He said ‘the Stig barges into the studio and in an atmosphere you could cut with a knife, removes his helmet’.

‘As a television moment, it’s up there with Neil Armstrong walking on… the corpse of JR Ewing.’

So, if you needed any more persuasion to tune in at 8pm tomorrow night on BBC 2, this is it.

I unfortunatly saw a spoiler as to the stigs revealed identity the other day. I dont know if its the truth, but I cant wait to see if it is. I know its not the regular one but just for entertainment value it'll be good Smiley

My friend and I were making guesses at who the Stig is....

He suggested it could be Tony Blair.
I hoped it would be Micheal Jackson.

Basically whoever has titanium testicles, gave birth to Chuck Norris, has feet made of dog leather and a torso made from Carbon Fibre is probably the Stig. Any ideas?  Grin

Thought it got leaked a while back, but apparently Ben Collins (as you would do) denied it. Shall have to wait another hour or so and see.

Smiley Smiley Brilliant. Was expected, but to be fair the Fxx was a dead giveaway as to who was driving. One the style and two, Michaels is the only one with the red trimmed wheels.

Excellent episode. Grin
