I have the trim wheel and it works as advertised.

I have to unplug it and replug it in whenever I start FSX, but after that it's fine.

It seems a bit sensitive meaning a small amount of trim changes the flight dynamics alot(moreso than the real aircraft I fly), but I think that's an FS setting.

I have it mounted under my desk with velcro tape and it makes a nice addition to my rig so I would give it a thumbs up.

Did you see he has a YouTube video showing how to wire up and use the 2120 Pulse Generator for toggle switches?

Alright guys... I recieved the components I ordered from Desktop Aviator. Here's what I ordered...

Cessna Avionics Panel (Model 1010E)

Elevator Trim Wheel (Model 2030)

Parking Brake (Model 1070)

Carburetor Heat (Model 2080)

All components are made of medium weight plastic which seem to be durable enough for normal use, but I'm not sure how well they would last in a white knuckle situation.

A few of notes:

The key switch on the Avionics Panel is not programmable through FSX, but seems to need a Registered FSUIPC Key to get the full use of the product. The master and light switches are programmable through FSX though.

The Elevator Trim Wheel has a very accute adjustment and is not made for multiple turns, but does turn about 340*. It seems care should be taken when adjustments are made and when getting to the end of the wheel's ability to turn.

The Carburetor Heat works as advertized and is programmable through FSX. It also seems that a Registered FSUIPC Key would also make the Carburetor Heat knob a good component for controlling cowl flaps, fuel shut off or air ram.

The Parking Brake works as advertized and is programmable through FSX.

Overall I'm happy with the components. Now I have to figure out what to build and... how - this IS a slippery slope Cool
