heya people,

first of let me start by explaining why i need your help! i recently 'lost'  (well actually they simply vanished!  ) some folders out of my main FSX directory which led to the problem of loosing my sim! luckily i had the original folders backed up so i simply mixed and matched the backed up ones with the remaining ones until my sim worked again! which it now does... BUT

i seem to have lost a lot of quality on runway and taxi textures and lighting, not to mention my frame rates have halved... im guessing at some point i downloaded some enhancements be them visual or performance ones but they must have been erased in the 'accident'.

ANYWAY.... i have trawled the dowload pages here for some enhancments but there are quite a few enhancements to FSX textures, including several runway ones and some trees and  sun enhancments, etc

SO..... i was just wondering which ones you guys use or recomend? any help or comments would be useful!

well i was thinking about doing that and i understand why it would be better but i have just spent ages downloading WOAI and didnt save the download files....  

Ontop of this i have loads of aircraft that would take forever to re-install!

but it seems to run ok-ish right now, have downloaded some textures replacements from here that improve framerate, but still cant get my runway textures to look great! its like the're all blury?!

i guess what im asking is does anyone have of the freeware texture enhancements available on this site installed, and if so are they worth it or not? and also the light enhancments?

any comments appreciated much!!
