Looks like Bombadier will be shedding 1000 jobs in N. Ireland

Wonderful news

I had thought they were doing relatively well compared to other manufactures with good sales overseas? (aircraft division) I'm not even sure they laid anyone off here in Wichita, and if they did it was a couple hundred (a far cry from the thousands laid off by Cessna at the same time).
What does the N Ireland division do or build? Here they build Lears and Challengers

I believe it is the Global 5000 and Learjet 40. In Northern Ireland it is not a true Bombadier company, but Shorts Bombardier
