Hi!.
I don't know if this was already posted or not.
We all like to have real traffic on our sim and there are lots of providers for that.
I have 2 questions
1 Do you think its worth it to remove the default commercial traffic so we can put AI traffic and the work load on the pc should be less because without the default traffic the AI traffic, can be easily handled?
2 In terms of fps witch of  the AI traffic providers is best?
Many thanks

1. Yes. I've removed the default traffic to add realism and it also cuts down on the number of AI the engine must read.
2. I use WorldofAI and Military AI models. They seem to be the most resource efficient models available...IMHO.

1.  I have removed the default AI, but I wish I could keep the default GA, the smaller airports are pretty dead without it.

2.  World of AI and Military AI Works, the best AI out there.  Little to no FPS hit on my machine.

Crossfire,

http://www.flightsim2004-fanatics.com/uploads/DefaultGA/Def_GA_DL.htm-FSX  (and fs2004) source files (TTools .txt) and traffic .bgls to install your default ga traffic. The .bgls were compiled with TTools, so if you have converted your WoAI and  MAI files to FSX format you'll have to convert these also.

Yes, remove the default.
I use WOAI, a few MAIW, along with HTAI Cessnas traffic, and compiled plans using the "GA-Traffic" program. (The GA-traffic program will fill out your smaller airfields around the globe)

I also have a handful of compiled plans for airlines and units that those don't cover, such as some of the newer stuff flying around Hawaii, and some minor regional airlines. It can really make your skies busy at times.
Once you get a lot loaded in, try flying from Washington DC, to Philadelpha, and then to one of the airports in New York City.

The entire flight should be absolutely saturated with traffic!
