Hi everyone, I downloaded an MD-83 from AVSIM to add repaints to and fly in FSX. Whenever I open any of the MD-83's, however, I get a view in spot view out of the front of the plane, with no panel. Now I figured out to press shift-1 to make the panel appear, and that works fine until I try to use the hat switch on my joystick to look left or right, in which the view outside the cockpit changes whichever way I am turning on the hat switch. Furthermore, when I switch the view sequence (like from cockpit to spot to tower to aircraft), after I switch out of the "cockpit" view, I cannot go back to it. It cycles from spot (view from outside) to tower (view from tower) to aircraft (view from left window, landing gear, etc.). Is there any way that I can get the cockpit view back? Please help, the MD-80 series is one of my favorite line of aircraft! Please make your instructions detailed and not too complicated; I'm new to FSX, being an X-Plane 8 veteran. Thank you for your help!

it only has a 2D panel. I think you have to restart the panel everytime you switch views this is kind of the wrong section though
