Route:
Phoenix Sky Harbor International (KPHX)

TO

Las Vegas McCarran International (KLAS)

Time:
3:30pm, US Eastern Time.

More specific route details to come later.

I will be providing Air Traffic Control services using a freeware radar client referenced in the route suggestions thread for this flight.
I would like to provide these services through voice.
For those of you that cannot, or do not wish to speak, you can still respond in text, but I wish that you would at least have Teamspeak running and connected so you can hear my instructions.

If you absolutely must receive instructions in text, let me know in this thread.

This will by no means be a professional quality ATC service, but I hope that it will make flying this route a more interesting experience.
I will support both VFR and IFR flightplans and will direct you according to what type of plan you file.
Please be sure to file them properly within the session using the "fp" chat codes.

I will also personally be referencing the weather broadcasts from "FSMetar" for current conditions during the flight, which will affect active runway choices.

Thanks, see you there!

-Sean

Just this minute completed the flight from Phoenix to Las Vegas in my Default Learjet 45 with flight following supplied by FS 2004 Default ATC.

A busy ATC flight with lots of aircraft buzzing around!

But so much red Arizona and Nevada sand!... Shocked... Shocked... Shocked...!

...and not much in the way of breath-taking scenery!... Cry...!

Teamspeak:

I must bow out on this one, Chums..Wink...

As I have mentioned before, all my Audio Equipment and Speakers are permanently connected to all my Music Studio Keyboards and my Computer equipment, and swapping things around is a bit of a headache, just for the "fiddly" benefit of Teamspeak for a short period...Wink...!

I've got all the equipment, (Headset, program, etc), for Teamspeak, but I cant be arsed with fiddling about setting it all up each time...life is far too short!...
I like to just fire the Sim up, and immediately "go flying"...ATC Solo or non-ATC Multiplayer... Grin...
I'm basically a lazy sod!... Kiss...!

I could still watch you on my FS Nav Radar, tho'...(No-one can escape my beady eye!).... Wink...!

Paul...G-BPLF...FS 2004...FS Navigator...and a Circuit Breaker tripped on my Nav/Com Radio...Wink...Wink... Grin...!

Paul, if you wish, I can either give you all ATC instruction in text, or you can just fly without the ATC services, and I'll just note your presence when dealing with the other traffic.

I would love to have you at least fly the route with us!  Smiley

...I think I could manage that, all being well, Sean!... Wink...!

I promise I wont type rude messages, comments, etc, in the Chat Window to corrupt the "Little Ones", whilst en-route*... Roll Eyes... Wink...!

Sorry I won't be able to make that one due to the Saturday timeframe.  And the early time also.  Will be working.  Was looking forward to the ATC services.

Have fun on the flight....I'll be looking at the threads to see how it went.

best,

.................john

Hmm....I'm now thinking about doing the flight on Saturday at the time stated, and again on the following Sunday at 7:30pm.

Would having these two chances allow everyone that wants to participate do so?
