One that you put together yourself, or one that your local computer builds for you with parts that you choose.
For good results at a reasonable price I'd go for a computer almost the same as SubZer0.
Antec 900 | ASUS P6T Deluxe | i7 920 if overclocking or 940 if not... 940 WILL overclock further however. | GTX 260, GTX 275 and GTX 280 and 285 are good also | 6GB DDR3... make sure it's DDR3-1600 if overclocking | CORSAIR or PC POWER & COOLING power supply - 610 watts or above.

yes, a Core i7 system is the top dog now, and it has shown the best results with FSX so far
given that your computer seems like it's some 5 years old now, you'd be absolutely amazed by the difference
Cheers

8800, is not as good as GTX 260, but it's still good and for good price.
Try to get the 8800GTX 768mb, second choice would be GTS 250, 9800GTX+ then 9800GT. They're all pretty much 8800's, despite the names....
Also, try and use a dedicated computer store like
www.newegg.com
. The parts are probably crap thus you're not saving any money; just buying slower hardware.

Very True. I built a good PC for £300 and a Dell equivalent was £650.
