I really tried guys,to no avail. Everytime I tried a third plane something would mess up,like screen going white then having no planes. I really gotta hand it to all who accomplished this.
I have a shot to at least show I tried. Sad  Embarrassed  Cry

No problem Truck! When duty calls, you gotta answer. Wink

Thanks, and great job to all who stepped up to this challenging theme. Cool

You'll be happy to know, that there won't be any more with FSR  Wink, unless you want to use it. Cheesy.

It's in the judges hands now, good luck to all! Smiley

1. Start with your first plane, get it in the position you want with the slew function. Leave the sim in slew for the ENTIRE process.

2.Press 'alt' to bring up the menu bar and select FSRecorder

3. Choose Record, and let record for about 180seconds (this gives you three minutes to mess around with) When you reach that time, press 'alt' again to bring up the menu bar, choose FSRecorder and select 'stop'

Name the file and save.

4. Choose your next plane

5.  When the new plane loads, press 'alt' to bring up the menu bar again. select recorder, and then choose 'Play as Traffic' and select the video you just recorded in step 3.
When it loads you will have both planes on screen.

6. Press 'alt' again to bring up the menu bar, choose recorder again, and select record. There is NO need to choose record AI traffic.

7. Position the new plane where you want it, and stop recording when the first plane disappears. Save the new file and name it similar to the first one.

8. Choose your next plane, or keep with the one you already have.

9. Press 'alt' again, choose recorder, 'Play as Traffic' and choose BOTH
of the videos you have made.
You will now have Three planes on screen. Repeat steps 3-9 till you have what you are after. Wink

10. More questions?  I'm here all day. Smiley

Thanks Shane... This is a lifesaver for me!

I'll give this a shot and see how it goes. Thanks for the tips Wink

Team X

As confusing as it was, I did it! Thanks Shane for the short but VERY useful tutorial Wink

A USMC F-18 tries to steal the show over South Beach.... of course Grin

...

Nothing special, but I spent a good amount of time trying to learn this thing and get this shot

Good luck to both teams

Good shot Sub, especially for a noob. I couldn't get past the 2nd plane for some reason but I'll figure it out.

I for one Shane, have no problem incorporating this into one of the next themes. It'll help me to learn more of it.
It's actually pretty cool. Cool

I don't think it should be incorporated again because it's a hassle for people to learn it and many of us (including me) don't have time to do so. As a matter of fact jime, that shot was accidental. I was having problems getting a 3rd aircraft in there and shot like 7 different videos... That shot was actually accidental Grin

Using it won't be a requirement for future themes, but using it is totally up to the shooter. Wink

I like how this theme was educational as well as fun. Smiley
