I finally got my FSX running & optomized- now looking for some very unique aircraft to add on.  Can some of you tell me what aircraft you may have downloaded  that is TRUELY UNIQUE??

Sure, there are bombers, fighters, airliners, etc., but what's really unique out there???& Why???

Thank you
P.S. ...Just a few Great Planes

There's Warwick Carter's Civilian P-51D, and a Bristol Beaufighter by someone else. These are both freeware in payware quality, the latter even having 3D gauges.

Of payware, nothing comes close to RealAir's SF.260 IMO. www.realairsimulations.com. This is just a fantastic plane, great looking, great model, great VC with 3D gauges, great flight model. Everything, you could ever want Cheesy

You won't go wrong with a Carenado product either though Smiley

If "Unique" is what you want, browse through the "Miscellaneous" downloads.

I think the 767 american airlines on projectopensky.com is awesome. They are truely photorealistic! It works even better with anti-ailising checked.

One of my personal faves is the Grumman Albatross.  If memory serves, it's freeware in the Simviation neighborhood here.  There are some blank gauges, and it sits nose-heavy in the water, but the texture(s) are first class and the flight dynamics are quite commendable too!

It was one of my favorite models that I built as a young'n.....operating landing gear even!

And I got to fly on one of the last active duty craft in the USAF.  Very cool!

Section F8's F-86. Freeware that really could have, and should have been payware! It's THAT good. Very realistic flight characteristics as well.

My specs... A hard drive, motherboard, graphics card, some memory, a keyboard, mouse, and monitor - in other words, nothing special.

The F-14 Tomcat is a freakin good aircraft for me.
The poskey 777 in AA and Untied Airlines is one of the best ive seen so far.
The Misc. in fs2004 has a lot more unice stuff in it.
