I must be dense. I've OC'd before but this BIOS is new to me.
Here's what I see. Tell me if I missed something....
CPU Voltage=1.375
CPU PLL= auto
DRAM=1.64 (it jumps to 1.66. I can't get 1.65)
QPI DRAM=1.33750
I am stable at 4.07ghz with this--as far as the system is concerned. I was able to make a long flight last night without crashing in fsx.
Should something be adjusted?
It looks like its in the zone
The DRAM is fine.. the QPI DRAM probably need to come up to 1.35.. try that first.
Is LOAD LINE CALIBRATION enabled or disabled on this?
If it is DISABLED that can cause it. LLC dampers the Vcore. When you enable LLC it sets the vcore to a constant and does not allow fluctuation assuming SpeedStep and CE1 are disabled in the CPU settings.
1.375 (1.38) is about right for 4GHz but that could also be a bit low.
I would start with 1.35 QPI/DRAM and if still crashing raise vcore to 1.39 and retest... 1.4 is where most end up @ 4GHz but that does not mean you will nor does it mean you must run 1.4
lower is always better if stable
