What browser are you using?

If it's Internet explorer, does a message come up at the top of the screen stating that the download has been blocked, and asking you to click here?

If so, click on the highlighted message and select "allow."  You will be pleasantly surprised.

I might also recommend using Firefox, they have a friendly little download pop-up window.
