This won't interest you big-iron people but I'm hoping there's a cub pilot out there.  Specifically the Aerosoft version.  Though close to a fix, been haggling with their support people, but nothing yet.  This plane, in the VC mode, has a whirling propeller blur which absolutely drives me nuts.  From what I've learned, the fix is to copy a texture file from the primary FS9\Aerosoft folder to each texture file for all fifteen cubs in the files.   Great, except I misplaced (failed to copy) the original file and since there's five that I know of - different dates - I'm paddling in circles.  If you have this plane - Aerosoft Super Cub - I need the date of the prop.bmp file in Flight Simulator 9\Aerosoft\Super Cub.

I can't help directly, but I would say repost this in FSX/FS9 forum. It will get missed down here as this is more for real aircraft subjects.

I'm sorry, I don't have this one either, but until someone pops in that does (bound to happen Wink )  One way to find it would be to take each of the 5 BMP's you have and put them in five of the different cubs and see which is the one you are after.

A little time consuming, yes, but it should provide the answer you are after. Wink

I just found out, through Aerosoft support, the correct file was not in my main Super Cub folder so anything I was doing was an exercise in futility.  The correct file is forthcoming and, for what it's worth, is a prop.bmp file - 85.4kb - dated 1/6/2005.

The lost file is now found, copied and pasted to all appropriate texture files and the prop blur is gone Smiley.
