WINNERS, WINNERS, WINNERS

Judge ManuelL has made his decision! and his choices are :

Skoker

...

This shot conveys the impression of things suddenly appearing out of the fog very well. It has a 3 dimensional quality that sucked me right in. As the file name indicates: an amazing shot.

CONGRATULATIONS Skoker!!!!

In second place, RAFLeigh

...

Another shot that captures the theme of the week very well. I wonder if this bird would get clearance under these conditions in real life. The more impressive are the landing skills. If you look very carefully you can almost see the look of relief on the pilots face.

In third, SeanTK

...

I like the careful editing of this shot. It is very crisp and has a great angle. The pilot should consider a go around, though. In my opinion he is coming in a little high.  Wink

Thanks very much!

Kind regards

Manuel"

Nice work on a great comp!

Cheers

Very thick clouds, on route on a bomb run. Not the best conditions, especially when you're trying to fly in formation.

I was thinking low visibility. Granted, it's not low by the plane but ground level sure is. Like manuel's F-16 shot the mountains in the distance have low visibility. Was thinking along those lines.
Not the best and maybe I should've taken a shot down low but I liked this one with the clouds in the valleys.

Hopefully the use of a US airport doesn't detract from this scene too much. I just liked the look of the ground textures.

Hi all,

thanks for posting so many atmospheric shots this week. I was a bit afraid the JC would be neglegted as many of you are cought up in the greatest battle of all times (9 vs X)  Wink. I shouldn't have worried. With all these shots, it took me quite a while to come to a decission.

Best regards
Manuel
