This shot conveys the impression of things suddenly appearing out of the fog very well. It has a 3 dimensional quality that sucked me right in. As the file name indicates: an amazing shot.











In second place, RAFLeigh







Another shot that captures the theme of the week very well. I wonder if this bird would get clearance under these conditions in real life. The more impressive are the landing skills. If you look very carefully you can almost see the look of relief on the pilots face.







In third, SeanTK






I like the careful editing of this shot. It is very crisp and has a great angle. The pilot should consider a go around, though. In my opinion he is coming in a little high.
