Battle Of The Sims! Theme #3 Updated Scoreboard (Read 2943 times)

Scoreboard after Theme #2 Team Kiss My 9 @ 587.....Team X Men @ 581...........Team 9 has made a comeback and overtakes Team X with a slight lead...the battle rages on....

Fire up your comps and your screenart skills as it's time for Theme #3. Same rules apply as in Theme #2, you have until Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. EST to post your full sized pics here. Theme #3 is going to test your computer's graphics abilities, but don't fret. If you're not equipped with top notch stuff, put up the best you can with whatever you've got. Remember.....make 'em good as you can, your team's depending on it.

I honestly think the X Men got slaughtered in this round. Its hard to have an AI contest when 99% of the AI out there is made for FS9 and when the models are ported into FSX they just look straight up weird.

I mean there certainly are some good attempts here but AI is a strong point for FS9.

Looking forward to those results and the next theme. How many themes are there going to be?

i agree with you about the AI for FS9 but the AI that i used in my shot is not from or for FS9...it is the free download from FTX that contains FSX AI for Australia Wink

For going with an extended theme count, we would have to work in a solution for people wanting to exit/enter the competition as participants and judges. Now that SubZer0's got his system up and running again, I'm pretty sure he won't want to stay a judge, and it would also be nice to keep teams at an even number to make the scoring system stay fair and balanced. You FSX guys out there are starting to outnumber us FS9 guys! Cheesy

Maybe we could even draw some Xplane people into this and have ourselves a triple threat match! Grin

I've got several new themes worked up to get us up to 10. After the 5th theme, we'll take a breather and check on everyone's status as far who wants to proceed, and who's had enough, and if anyone wants to switch teams.

For those seeking to move on, get ready, ndude737 wanted them to be harder, so it'll be his fault if you have a difficult time with them. Grin
