yay!! that's me!!  Grin

i bought myself today a 640GB Seagate Barracuda... finally!! my old drive was pretty much on the verge of it's breaking point, so this didn't come a minute too soon

quite cheap actually (for Brazilian standards that is)... 270 BRL, about 110 USD

i'm going to install it tomorrow... and then start the long tedious process of reinstalling everything on my rig... which is not so bad actually... my pc was left so messed up after it's last hurried rescue effort after a mighty crash, it really needed a proper formatting... also 200GB of space isn't much these days

now i have some plans for this one, i created a 4GB partition that will be assigned as swap space, so old XP here won't be fragging my files so much

plus the old drive shall be kept as backup space, to throw in all my irretrievable stuff i'd be dead without  Roll Eyes

yay!! buying computer stuff always makes me happy!!  Wink

Cheers
