Hi my current pc specs are;
Compaq Presario
AMD 64 Processor
3700+
2.19GHz, 1.00Gb of RAM
NVIDIA GeForce 6200SE TurboCache
I am running FSX on medium-ish settings
I dont want to buy a brand new pc, as this is very exspensive.
Does anyone know what i can relpace in my current pc, to get either nearly full or complealty full scenery settings?
i.e, Graphics card, processor ect.
Many thanks
Alex

the only way you're going to get "full" settings or anywhere near that is to get an i7 system... which unfortunately requires a completely new system. other than that, any upgrade you make to that system is basically going to be a loss of money

yes, unfortunately, hardware tends to have a 'window' of upgradeability... after that comes a point where changing the whole system is the only way of getting an appreciable result that's worth what you're paying for

so my best advice would be to save up for a new configuration... might take longer, but will give you a mighty boost in FS performance that'll be well worth the cost of upgrading... and the wait  Wink

Cheers
