Hi dudes,

Someone has offered me some Geil DDR2 PC6400 Ultra for £20 - This stuff here http://www.novatech.co.uk/novatech/specpage.html?GEL-2GBU

I currently have this http://www.ebuyer.com/product/98710/show_product_overview

Are there going to be any conflicts or problems - I notice that the ones I am being offered have 4-4-4-12 latency whilst mine are 5-5-5-15 so although not matched will it make my system a lot faster and is it worth the £20?

Cheers

i believe that they might work together, although i can't say anything about how it might perform...

what i do know is that in the event of multiple types of RAM with different timings, the pc will run them all at the speed of the slowest one

Cheers
