First I feel like I'm spaming this forum. Believe me I am really working hard day and night on this as it part of my graduate project.

I've made a custom 3d model.  In Deep Exploration all the textures look great the model can be exported to google sketchup and all the textures work great their too.  But not in gmax!

When in FSX, my custom 3d model uses a copy of the Robinson r22 .air and .cfg to make it fly. However the model is black and I won't even pretend to know how to fix it.

Is there a simple Deep Exploration or google sketchup pro or photoshop to FSX texture method?

I done so much reading on everything FSX i can keep it strait I just need somebody to filter for me.

I really don't know what your doing with "Right Hemisfere Deep Exploration 3d program " I only use it to Pass (exports) Parts of my gmax into 3d studio max ,BTW I use it yesterday to export some of the Boeing 707 VC parts similar to the Boeing 727 for Not to doing then again.
this is not a software for developing MSFS models at all ,and if you did something in it you will have to export it as 3ds or direct model (x)  and import it to gmax or 3d studio max to then export it as an MDL using FSX-SDK or FS9-SDK

Alrot you are correct.  I only use Deep Exploration to translate the models... I make is sound like work with models a lot but I don't.  I build most of my models in Sketchup Pro.  I export from Sketchup as a .3ds and bring it into Deep Exploration to check it out.  I can do a little tweeking in there but thats about .1% if ever that I do it.

Otherwise I use Deep Exploration to convert 3d files so i can import them into Sketchup.  I'm conformable working in these programs as well as photoshop.

Basically my question is there a way that I can export my models from my applications without having to redo the textures in GMAX.  I can work with a lot of different file formats with deep exploration.

I had to append this a bit...

I tested the gmax to fsx .mdl and that works like a charm.  Its bringing along the textures of that file that are making life hard for me.  IE when I bring the .3ds file into gmax the textures are not on the model.  Not knowing how to texture in the first place and i would really prefer having the file come into gmax ready to export to .mdl with the textures as is.
