Next time I'm flying up in that area I'll see what I can find. You just never know what might show up it that vast emptiness. But don't hold your breath.
You can land anywhere it's so flat. At least in the part of the state I was in. Why build an airstrip?
Maybe someone familiar with North Dakota could enlighten us to a more interesting area in the state to visit.
