Is anybody else having problems with AVSIM's site today? I can get to the main page eventually, but it takes forever, and sometimes not at all, and cant get into the forum page at all.

I think its the traffic due to the Aces deal.. they got pounded yesterday and this morning

It will probably be cleared up soon

none the less I have noticed slow load issues with them since they updated their forum software some weeks ago.. it comes and goes

Today, yes. Probably being pounded.

Slowdowns since the transition to new forum software, probably a case of finding the right combination of software settings and features to fit the available hardware.

Hey, that sounds familiar...

I already have.  Grin

Still keep an eye on Avsim though. And they seem to be back in business.
