Sorry Mazza, I don't know much about AMD. Sad Try Coretemp, but I don't know max temperatures or things like that. I"d just try and keep it within a few degrees of whatever temperture you're at now.

I mean like some software to put my cpu under load, and display some temps Wink. I'm sure it wouldn't make a problem just 'cause I bought an AMD/ATi system Roll Eyes

LOL you edited it, i have coretemp, but It display incorrect temps i think, Unless my CPU get's lot's of load botting, BIOS says 40 degrees C, But i just put my hand near the fan and see Grin. I'll try now Wink

...Maz...my old Chum...Wink...

This is the point at which I ask...

Was your Flight Sim running satisfactorily, eg; Frame rates (locked at 20 FPS), Smoothness, etc, at sensible graphical settings, before you decided to pratt about play about with "overclocking" your system and risking destroying everything... Shocked...?

My lowly AMD 2.1 GB, ancient Socket A Processor, and 7800 GS, AGP! graphics card runs my FS 2004 smoothly, flat out, with Max settings... Kiss...!

Paul...G-BPLF...FS 2004...and daily, smooth, Multiplayer flights... Smiley...!

.... Or, you can have a computer 50% faster.  Cheesy Overclocking in the right hands is by no means risky.  Wink

Idle temperatures don't matter. What matters is LOAD temperatures. Are your voltages on auto, or manual? What are they at stock clocks? What are they now?

Dunno Cheesy, But in the BIOS it said "Please put in the Mhz you want to Overclock, Leaving everything on auto, we will adjust everything to make a stable as possible" Cheesy.

But i really need a program to put my WHOLE cpu underload, and give my some temps Undecided

And Paul, Yes i can fun FS9 at Max with 50fps Cheesy. Now most likely is 100 Grin.

But I want more Fps in Game like Cyrsis, Far Cry 2, And other next-gen games Wink

EDIT: Found some software called "Prime 95" , It's putting all my cores under 100% load, after bout 5Min it's at 46 degrees C Wink

I don't like auto, it pumps too much voltage in my opinion, and you don't have total control. I probably wouldn't even bother overclocking if you don't know what BIOS is doing...

If it's unstable in Prime95 I would back down. 2.42ghz is a pretty small overclock, should be abled to easily go higher, but then again, it's AMD.
