Anyone know of any good, freeware A320 models for FSX. Also one with a US Airways paint. Thanks in advance.

Cool

You looking for something with, or without a vc?

If no... you could always alias the default panel/vc. Anyways, have a look here;

www.pairbus.com

and here;
www.ifdg.net/moderndl.php

My specs... A hard drive, motherboard, graphics card, some memory, a keyboard, mouse, and monitor - in other words, nothing special.

I downloaded the one from the first link, and it tell me that it failed to start flight model. Is there a way to fix that?

Which one? There are alot there. And while most are for FS9.... and I've gotten them to work, some are also made for FSX as well.

Try first getting one of the aircraft downloads, ie the A320 of your choice. Then get the FSX mdl for the A320. Assuming you are talking about the project Airbus site... just go to the downloads section and you will see everything.

It's not freeware but it is well worth the price.

http://secure.simmarket.com/overland-fly-into-the-sky-airbus-edition.phtml

They have the "Boeing" edition too but the only good planes in the boeing edition are maybe the 767-300 and 737-700.

The package includes all the Airbus' from the A300 to the A380 with framerate friendly virtual cockpits. The models are well detailed and the addon paints are stunning. All easy learning curve (similar VC complexity as the default to give comparison, not a PMDG quality product.) Highly suggest getting it, one of my top addons for FS. Cheesy

Given recent events, and the requested paint scheme, I'm guessing you are taking it swimming.

No. Due to the recent events, I realized that I didn't have any Airbus add ons, especially repaints. This was one that I wanted. The other ones I wanted I are on the sites above.

Oh ok.  I do wonder how many simmers downloaded the US Airways A320 that day and tried to duplicate what happened.   Cool
