*MPEG-4 Part 14, formally ISO/IEC 14496-14:2003, is a multimedia container format standard specified as a part of MPEG-4. It is most commonly used to store digital audio and digital video streams, especially those defined by MPEG, but can also be used to store other data such as subtitles and still images. Like most modern container formats, MPEG-4 Part 14 allows streaming over the Internet. The official filename extension for MPEG-4 Part 14 files is .mp4, thus the container format is often referred to simply as MP4.

Some devices advertised as "MP4 players" are simply MP3 players that also play AMV video and/or some other video format, and do not play MPEG-4 part 14 format. To the makers of these players, the "MP4" designation simply means that they play more than just MP3. This can become rather confusing for potential buyers.

As for the original meaning, I'm sorry, I haven't a clue.  Tongue

Close. Originally it was apparently "Marlboro Project 4" (Project 4 being Ron Dennis' team in various Formulae before the McLaren merger). Nowadays I think it's conveniently "McLaren Project 4".

Couple of interesting changes on this car.
Firstly the exhausts, I like the way they've covered them, but I don't see that being on the final race car. They've also dumped the aysemetrical cooling vents and gone with quite frankly, tiny inlets including the air box inlet. There is no sign of a KERS cooling vent, which again is quite surprising considering the size of the cooling inlets.
I like how they've positioned the cockpit, with the ferrari its been moved quite a way forward in comparison to the F2008, but Mclaren have kept it in the middle. Maybe something to do with how the ferrari struggled to warn its front tyres. It's certainly a lot fatter and boxier than what Mclaren usually bring out but its not bad.
Its interesting to note that with 3 differant cars, we've got 3 very differant nose cones. Toyota have a long nose with the front wing extended from the tip, Mclaren have gone for a squat nose with the wing and the nose ending in roughly the same place and the ferrari having the long pointy nose with the wing behind the nose tip. I cant wait to see how they are all effected in terms of balance.

Nice side by side of the 3.
