This question has come up here lately, so here's a simple enough way to find out how many do and don't.

i would love to have a 22 widescreen but i am stuck at the moment with a 19 in tube monitor...the 1024 size to me looks better then being sized down, i just have to press the wheel on my mouse then move the mouse to see the whole shot.

widescreen

Most of the time I post my screenshots at 800 wide because I think most people dont have a wide screen. I like the viewers eyes to see the whole shot not a segmented one. I put alot of detail in my shots so I would prefer to post 1024 wide. Maybe most  have a widescreen now.

I made the change recently after my old monitor gave up. Now I am running FSX at 1920x1200 resolution - and don't regret it.

Old one was a 17" Dell flat screen that actually treated me right for the last 5 years.

Answers are useless... you need another option... 16:9 or 16:10 ratio

i have 3 LG 1952h 19" screens, hooked up through Matrox's Triple Head

so i voted for widescreen... though my screens aren't wide themselves, they form a 15:4 wide array @3840x1024 resolution  Cheesy

Cheesy NEW PC SPECS: Intel Core i7 920 - 6GB Corsair DDR3 PC12800 RAM- Intel DX58SO Mobo - Geforce GTX 460 768MB GDDR5 - 3x LG1952h LCDs through Matrox's TH2Go - 640GB Seagate Barracuda 7200Rpm  - 200GB Maxtor 7200Rpm - Microsoft Sidewinder X6 Keyboard - 5.1 Surround and a Saitek X52 Pro and Pro Flight Rudder Pedals  -- Running Windows 7 Ultimate x64

My 8800 GTX has at last retired... may it rest in peace in GPU heaven.
