Hello,
I know this category shouldn't be about flight sims.
But I couldn't resist posting some of my soaring shots anyway.

Wow, Condor looks good since the last time i saw it, is it a bit realistic? Maybe Rotty knows?

For soaring condor (and silent wings) are much more realistic than MS FS. The flight dynamics are very good (planes do not only spin or show wing flutter at high speed, but the spinning/flutter behavious is depending on weight, ballance, altitude and how long you stay in the  situation. Sometimes with a fully loaded glider you will not be able to exit a spin or the spin stabilizes if you stay in it longer and it becomes more difficult to recover). The lift model is very good and features thermals, ridge lift, adiabatic lift (depending on how high the sun i standing) waves etc. Thermal strength is also depending on the surface (fields, grassland, forrest).

If you are into soaring, I can recommend this sim.

I sure am interested, i installed a load of addons for 2004 so i could soar in The Netherlands, was quite good but didnt felt really realistic.

Here is a little shot showing the thermal visualisation (in the game it is animated). Red balls are the main updrafts of the thermal, yellow/green balls are secundary updrafts of the thermal. Blue balls show downdrafts. You can also see different stages of the thermal cycle.

...

Edit: Condor is mainly for online competition soaring. There is a very active comunity and all kinds of competitions, leagues and cups. But you can also plan your own tasks offline or use it for freeflight. For beginners it has some lessons on the basics like take offs, landings, thermaling, ridge/wave soaring, MC theory etc.
