After playing the first one, I ordered GH3 for PS3, and got it the other day.

Love it! Cheesy

Anyone else out there?

That's more than me, I'm still on medium! Cheesy

I tried starting a game on hard, but 'hard' in GH3 is much harder than in the first...

Practice I suppose Cheesy

heh. best way i found out to get better. just do the difficulty that you can till you fail a song. go to next difficulty, should be able to start off but not get too far and then go back to what you were doing when you cant get any further on the new difficulty. That got me from medium to expert in no time. If that stops and you can't do either just do a few random songs that you bought at the store.

I like GH :p.

one thing that made all the difference for me on GH3, was to calibrate the lag... it seemed that i was having to stroke the notes before they actually played, and that was throwing me off immensely since i couldn't play by the beat...

a 60-80ms lag compensation did it for me, now it plays perfect and i can play most songs on hard and some on expert

btw i play the wii version, i don't know how this calibration works for other consoles

my favorite songs are 'Knights of Cydonia', 'Welcome to the Jungle', 'Cliffs of Dover', 'One' and 'The Devil Went Down to Georgia' which is the final boss guitar battle... i just wish this song could be played normally and not only as boss battle... also i wish the wii could download new songs like the other consoles do  Tongue

You can on PS3 via download, but none of that on the Wii Undecided

Of the boss battles, Tom Morello is my favourite. That staccato sounds awesome! Love to play it in quick play.

And of the others, KoC is a favourite as well. Was a fan of Muse long before I got GH3, so naturally, I got the Muse track pack as well Cheesy Managed a 99% on Stockholm Syndrome yesterday (medium), I wanna get 100%... I gotta try to calibrate the lag as well... Didn't see much of a difference with it done, but I gotta again Cheesy
