Is the Icon A5 sport plane being made for FSX? I saw this plane on the news and thought it looked nice. Its rather new though.

I would so love to see the A5 on FSX. That is my dream LSA! Unfortunately I don't have $140 thousand to buy it so FSX would be the closest I can get to fly it.
So if someone can design it that would be AWESOME!

Phase one of testing is finished. Would be happy if someone could make this sometime, but I don't want to be bossy. Don't usually see a lot of LSA around.

I'm working on it in FSDS, and plan to have a version for both FS9 and FSX. I've still got a lot of work to do, but it's looking good and flying very good (including water ops). Here's a screenshot:

Excellent! I think this is a very cool aircraft! I'm looking to get a LSA license in the next few years, and this would then be available to fly! Eagerly waiting for one in FSX!
My specs... A hard drive, motherboard, graphics card, some memory, a keyboard, mouse, and monitor - in other words, nothing special.

I'm almost done with it. Doing work on a virtual cockpit right now. Textures are all done, as are all animations. I'll try to post some updated screen shots in the next day or so.

It's 99% complete. Just trying to create an FSX-friendly version so that one download will work for FS9 and FSX. What's left is I'm trying to find a freeware, round AOA gauge (angle of attack).
Here's a video I just finished creating (link fixed):

How do the controls feel? Is the rudder sensative?

Very good, very balanced. I had to tone down the rudder just a bit. It's just right, now. I'll make the plane available very soon. You'll like it!

Ok, I've uploaded it to Flightsim dot com. This initial version flies well and looks good. Look in their "files" section, "search", and look for "Icon A5".
