Headquarters - Yesterday Republic Virtual Airways' Board of Directors met in an emergency meeting to discuss the issue on when the airline was to officially open.

"Due to delays in aircraft manufacturing and delivery, Embraer has contacted us that our aircraft are not to be delivered until the 17th", stated CEO Nicholas Cooper.

Republic Virtual Airways' VP of Corporate Development contacted Embraer for a statement, "We agreatly apologize for the inconvenience but due to factory glitches we will not be able to produce your E170 aircraft until a later date", stated a Embraer Representative.

To Our Pilots: We greatly apologize for the delay in this great airlines opening, but sadly this is a choice made by the Board of Directors to cope with a situation that remains out of our control. We hope that the delayed opening does not kill the interest and excitment many pilots hold for this new venture and hope to see you in the skies soon!

"Please stay tuned for further reports in regards to Republic's opening."

Happy Landings,
Jeremy Ballsmith
VP of Corporate Development
