About ASAFIn 2008 Arabian Sea Air Force was commissioned by the Virtual United Nations to combat terrorism and to maintain peace in region. A proposal was put forward in Virtual United Nations by Pakistan to combat terrorism jointly. All Arabian Sea Region countries agreed to join with the exception of India and Iran.
Main PurposeThe sole purpose of this force is to combat terrorism in the region. The main operation is to identify and destroy targets.
Other PurposesOther operations may include lowering Ground troops in the region to fight terrorism. Co-coordinating humanitarian efforts in region in times of natural disasters, ASAF will drop off aid to the effected region, it will also transport relief workers and rescue teams to disaster hit areas. Other Civilian rescue missions are also performed
ASAF will also perform airspace patrols, information gathering and ensuring security for the region.
Operations Launch.We had a great launch earlier today. We had planned a small launch on Flight SimWorld Multi-Player server. The launch was everyone is invited event. Event started at about 7 pm it started with a speech from Air Chief Marshal followed by a brief addresses from representative of memeber countries present at this occasion. After the address the dinner was served at about 9 pm and around 10 pm everyone headed to the runway at Sargodha Air Base in Pakistan. there were proper arrangements made for all guests to see the take of and landing of F-16s from Sargodha Airbase in Pakistan, which also the official HQ of ASAF and Regional HQ for Central Air Command.
First Flight
Air Chief Marshal who was to lead the flight event appeared on the runway where the plane was parked followed by the Wing Commander of 2nd fighting wing of Arabian Sea Air Force. The Plan was to fly to Pakistan Afgan border and then land on Khost in Afghanistan from where 3 more pilots were to join us.
Meanwhile at Sargodha Airbase there was an impressive show of fireworks and on guests were entertained by a musical concert.
After arriving at Khost in Afganistan ASAF team was join by 3 more pilots. They were not ASAF members but volunteered to participate in the launch event. All planes circled the air base to entertain the guests before finally landing in Sargodha.
