So far so good but still rough around the edges, hope new patch will sort texture and AA issues.

Ah, the game that cause quite a bit of hair loss for me, and makes my system cry more than FSX ever could.
I have the first patch, have anymore been released. I haven't played this since I installed it, and got bored of the low settings, and snail like FPS.
Will probably have to save this one for the upgrade, or until I can get the consel version.
Looks nice on your setup though!

Spectacular game.
I have created a "commandline.txt", removed the restrictions, got GTA to recognize my 1gig video memory and can now play in style.
I down-scaled traffic from 100 back to 50, just too many cars when wanting to make a run for it.
I do still notice some texture rendering problems & AA is much required. But the game is still fun to play and the content is just
Great shots

"Niko, cousin, do you want to go bowling?"
Haha. Love it, cause you'll have to get used to it!
Nice shots. Got the game for X360 for Christmas. Had previously borrowed it off a friend, but I've completed it myself now.

Basically you create a new text document (txt) (Right click on desktop, select new and the choose text document (Vista).
Now you should have a new text document. Rename this document to Commandline.
Once you did this open this document and add the following:
-novblank
-norestrictions
-nomemrestrict
-availablevidmem x.xx This would be more applicable to people with 1gig GPU memory. GTA limits to reading 512mb. So you can add x2 in this command to max the GPU ability.
Add this file in your root GTA IV folder.
I added this and do experience better performances however, I have not increased the graphics settings after I added this.
