Basically you can't.  It is not possible to remove ILS (or other navaids).  The best you can do is to physically move the unwanted ILS out of the way (I think in FS9 you could move it as close as allowed  to the North or South Poles.  Then add a new one with the correct Ident

...mmm...well that's right you can't change STOCK airports in this way....

What about making a totally new airport/afcad which could be made to fit exactly over the stock one but with the frequency, ID etc of your choice and use that instead of the default?

Just a suggestion...commoner Wink

You will get two ILS on the GPS etc.  Assuming that the original has approach code associated with it then that would have to be moved over or removed so that new approaches can be created fro the new ILS.

Which ever way there will be two ILS, Idents and frequencies and that could well cause all sorts of confusion.  You just cannot get rid of the old one

Ok SD...I assume you have tried that so bow to your superior knowledge Wink

I always believed that the frequecy at least was programmable if not the ID?

Might just test it out for myself when I get some time.....

Thanks for the gen. Wink.....commoner
