Had another flight today!

Aircraft: C172Q N96299

Airports: KAPA KBJC (first landing at a different airport)

Starting off was really boring my instructor said he would meet me on the ramp and asked me to do the preflights imagine my suprsise when i look into all of the storage pockets and the only checklist is the operational ones for in flight and engine starting. So i look in my flight bag to remember my C172 checklist is next to my computer and all I have is my log emergency procedures page and DA-20 Checklists. So we had to run through them when my instructor got onto the ramp. after that I got to call ground control and get full clearance after a taxi to the runup and a normal check we had a hurried take off because of a jet behind schedule. After that we headed towards Jeffco airport we had a great view of downtown denver. eventually we get close to Jeffco and switch frequencies the controller at Jeffco wasnt the best controller considering he was a jerk and thought he was in control of the entire denver area. Getting close to the runway at Jeffco my instrcutor told me we where low even though we where right on target for the landing apparently Jeffcos runways are sloped up and we needed more room. After that I got to enjoy the scenery again and headed back to KAPA for just 1 landing pretty standard and short flight only 1 hour in the log book.

6.4 hours total  Smiley
