hello...

just thought i'd post something about this little problem i have with the sound in FSX...

what happens is this: every now and then, occasional sounds, such as the gears deploying or retracting, or flaps, and ATC chatter, will bug out the sound in FS and turn all sounds into a loud hiss...

this is easily fixeable by pressing Q to turn the sound off and on again... and then everything goes back to normal...

but the problem remains that every now and then, some sounds cause FSX to hiss loudly (much louder than the usual volume i normally play on, thus annoying everyone else in the room)

this has going on for quite some time now, and now that i think of it, i don't know why i never posted anything about this matter sooner...

here are some specs:

running FSX sp2
windows XP 32bit EN
intel Pentium D 3.4ghz CPU
2GB DDR2 RAM
Asus P5ND2-SE mobo
relatively recent soundMax drivers

thanks in advance

Cheers
