Anyone know if this is fake? It seems fake to me, hard to believe a C-130 would just fold up and crash like this since the bird is built to land in the harshest of conditions

It is real. I remember seeing it on the news shortly after it happened. It was some time back and I think it may also have been reported in the newspapers.

Just too many duty cycles and less-than-perfect inspections, combined with pulling up when there was probably still a lot of retardant left in the tank.

That all makes sense. It looks so surreal in the video though, I thought it was fake. I never imagined a C-130 just folding up like that, such a rugged plane, I guess everything has limits...wow.
