Version FSX Gold. I can't remember if this is a native plane or an addon. It has two versions standard guages and glass.
Glass is all there and works great. The standard vc has no guages, the autopilot panel etc is there.

I checked the BB58 file in simobjects and can find no guages file.
Also checked gauges file in the main FSX folder and dont see any guages for this aircraft.

Anyone have any ideas on this and or a simple way to add guages to this plane?

I'm not a high tech person on the pc so keep it simple please,

thank you for your time  Smiley

The folder of the standard Baron is named beech_baron_58.

I believe it uses the Beech_Baron.cab in the Gauges folder.

Could you have deleted something by accident, like when installing an add-on plane?

Are the gauges missing in the VC only or are they missing in the 2D cockpit also?

The beech_baron_58 is a default  aircraft.

Most of the standard panel's gauges are contained in the 'Beech_Baron.cab' file in the ..\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Gauges\ folder.

I think you guys nailed it. Can't find any folder labled Beech_Baron in guages folder or BB 58 folder. A check also showed no guages in 2d cockpit view. So i must have accidently deleted this folder.
Guess im out of luck on this ?

I guess a repair or re install is possible. I hate to think of a re install.

I searched around in dl panels section and found these 2.
1. a 2d panel for the the BB58
2. a cessana 421 panel, says it can be used with any twin prop

I think ill try them before going any further.

Thanks again for all the suggestions.

For the gauges, you should not be looking for a folder, you should be looking for a file named beech_baron.cab.

If you think you might have deleted it, check your trash bin.

ok will try that as a last stand.

by the way the cessana 421 twin prop panel didnt work. In fact the bb58 wasn't eeven in the game although the glass one was and it worked fine. Took the 421 panel out and it was in again.

I gave up on this and deleted the game. Re installed. Had a problem getting acceleration to load after reloading FX deluxe. After much messing around it finally told me to install sp 1 or 2. 1 just finished dl so i hope that ends the problems get this going again.

Once more, thanks to all who tried to help with this.
