Meant to post these but never got around to it.  Flown last week, JetBlue flight 788 from St. Maarten to New York JFK.  Couldn't be a better time for a departure then sunset

7:05PM, all 145 passengers are on board and settling in for the 4 hour flight to New York.

7:15PM and all is ready for push back.

Engine running, flaps extending, safety demo playing.

Taxi out to runway 9 as the sun gets ever lower.

Cleared for takeoff. One last goodbye to this beautiful island before the engines roar to life and we blast off into the sunset.

Away we go and beginning our 90° turn to avoid the mountains. Fully loaded today, used nearly the whole runway to get airborne.


Climb out and sunset cruise set to be found in the Freeware section sometime tonight

Wow. These are all great. Not much else to say than that.
