Be easier to post a screenshot like commoner's. This intrigues me.

When i installed FS9, it created a file in my documents called Flight Simulator files, its where IFR flight plans/saved flights etc end up

i thought that was normal Huh

but anyway, thats where i use to download addons and stuff, and also where my TTools programme is and where anything decompiled by it goes

The plot thickens i guess Wink

The full path of that folder is: C:\Users\Callum\Documents\Flight Simulator Files

OK. I can't see the full path to your FS Traffic Files but I assume it's
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9\Scenery\World\scenery

Look in your TTools folder for a file named TTools.ini. This should list details of how your TTools is set up. Open it in Notepad & post the text here.

Exactly like mine. The only difference I can think of is that I'm on WinXP. Conclusion: It must have something to do with Vista.

What would happen if you delete everything from FlightPlans030528.txt & recompile it? You could take a back-up copy of the file first to be on the safe side. Must be worth a try.

PS. I just tried it. It works fine if you leave a couple of flight plan entries in there.

Try leaving a couple of entries in there. They can be for somewhere you're not likely to fly. One might do it.

Curious, does the traffic030528.bgl file show in Explorer now?
