Since my computer's old motherboard died, I got a new computer. Problem is, my old computer has a better graphics card than my new one. The old one had a GeForce 7200, new 7050. Is it worth it to swap them around? Or should I just buy a new graphics card? I use FSX.

I would say get an HD4850. You can get one for about 140 at newegg, and it's a smidgen better than the 8800gt.

not in FSX

the best budget card on the planet is the 8800GT for FSX

It will handle just about any proc you mate it to

the ATI cards fall way short in FSX, even their 4870 x2 can not beat a 8800GT in FSX

ATI and FSX just dont mix if one is looking for the best performance. They use a different method of AA and do not have the same horsepower for the old triagle rendering 3D which is what FSX is.

ATI cards are much better suited for shader based games such as crysis where they clobber nvidia

Unfortunately his tower may be old so the 8800GT may not be paried up with a good processor. With FSX its 75% processor 25% video card but the video card must be able to keep up with the processor. The 8800GTs are good for Core2, Quads and so on but once you get into high clocking and i7 the 200 GTX series is needed
