Hi all,
On wednesday i'm looking at purchasing another Laptop with a view to do some light gaming, at the moment i've been looking at a few under £400 which may do the job:

HP G60-100EM
Compaq CQ60-114

At the moment i'm leaning towards the second one due to it being a slightly better spec laptop... plus i'm also going to be purchasing a external hard drive at the same time to back everything up etc.

Any help in deciding which one would be the best out of the two listed would be welcome

John

With all these funny Laptop thingies, and the mention of playing "Games" on them, I always wonder what sort of Graphic Hardware is fitted inside, because it is rarely mentioned in the specification, and may be completely unsuitable for playing Games requiring high specification Graphics requirements!

The Graphics onboard the Compaq one Paul, is a Nvidia Geforce 8200m series with upto 1408mb of shared memory, i Know its not exactly the best out there at the moment but its going to be used for the occasional fs9 flight when i'm at my mums of a weekend (instead of lugging the full desktop)... Its also going to be mainly used for officey type work and photoshop, as well as website design and music video editing (for the band i'm in)

That although may have a slightly bigger harddrive and 1gb more memory, has basically the same features as the compaq one, but with a slightly different processor...
